Great little antique shop with plenty of beautiful glassware and crystal. Very fair prices!! It has a quaint and cosy feel that is hard to find these days, not to mention the owner is incredibly kind. I would highly recommend any antique lovers to check out this spot.
Beverly's shop is a vintage treasure hunters delight!
The rooms are packed with everything from eye-catching china and crystal pieces, original and refinished hardwood furnishings, eclectic artwork, unique lamps & accent chairs, ornate mirrors, and teacups galore! She carries more than I could list here and brings in "new" old pieces on a weekly basis.
She also offers very flexible lay-away plans, which I find particularly helpful, because it's hard to leave empty-handed but sometimes we fall in love with an investment piece and she understands that sometimes it's just a question of needing a little time to fit things into a budget.
I've read the negative reviews she'd been getting, and though I've only ever had pleasant of experiences with her and in her shop (I've been a client for 10+ years!), I believe that bad days happen and that often people only comment on negative experiences.
This little shop is well-worth the detour, and Beverly is the sweetest of shop owners, and has a wealth of knowledge to share for those who take the time to ask. I highly encourage you to let yourself be tempted to travel back to nostalgia-land and come let yourself be taken by this shop and the owner.
I was looking for postcards, there were none but the sales person was very courteous. Knew I was a visitor and was helpful in giving me directions to another location. Shop had interesting things especially if you want vintage for a local apartment. Not the sort of thing to take in airline carryon.
