“Randomly came across here when looking for a place to have lunch and glad I found this gem. Their seating area was closed I believe due to renovations going on so we had takeout. The owner was very nice and customer service was great. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, a mixed shawarma plate and a Kabab plate and everything was delicious and the flavours were all there. All the ingredients also seemed fresh. The quantity of the food was also not an issue and the food had us all very full. Would def recommend and will come back if ever in the area!”

“Everything lived up to what my friends had raved about. Fries are the best I’ve tasted in Montreal, gravy is not even necessary but is also delicious. Capicollo pizza was spot on, Caesar salad had the best quality, thickest bacon I’ve had on a salad. Server was welcoming and genuine. I’ll be back.”

“If you’re ready to treat yourself to a good night out, Gibbys is the place. For a while now, i wanted to try it out. I finally crack and take a reservation. I would suggest to book early on if you are planning to dine on a weekend. It was my first time there and service was perfect. The waitress gave me and my friend a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable. She gave us a lot of her favorite combo as we were first timer there. The ambiance is very classy and chic. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, Sirloin steak and a dessert. Everything came out perfect. The cheese sauce that accompanied the salad was excellent. The steak is one of best quality I’ve had so far in a restaurant. Overall, Gibbys is a must and a classic place to try for a special occasion:)))”

“if you're looking for a drag show at an affordable price, this is the place to go! staff were friendly and drinks were huge for a great price. they always have different shows so check their website beforehand for tickets. i believe Mondays are also free (for new drag performers). try to get there when doors open because seats fill up quick. most seats are taken already due to bachelor/birthday/party reservations so there aren't a lot of good seats if you're late. note they aren't super English friendly as most of the show was in French so if you're visiting and only know English, keep that in mind!”
