(March 21, 2019, 1:24 am)This place was recommended to me by 2 people that I trust so I was looking forward to it. The place is small and the tables are crammed ( reserving is a good idea ). Maybe it was an off night but the food lacked flavour and texture, two things that are paramount to an excellent sushi experience. Try it for yourself and you be the judge because the place was packed. We left disappointed with no desire to return knowing that there are better, more consistent options out there.

(January 31, 2019, 1:38 pm)This is my #1 go to West Island spot for an impromptu date night. The food is amazing (mouth watering), the service is always great and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I really have nothing bad to say about Avocado. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to large groups or families but for 2-4 people, it's the perfect intimate environment with spectacular food. I've been here more than 10 times and they are consistent in every way!

Service was very attentive. Location is nice but too dark, could not read the menu.
The menu had standard sushi and custum sushi rolls. A lot of their specialty rolls has fruit in it, which I'm not a fan of.
Tried the spicy salmon and spicy tuna, and a Philly roll. Fish was good, not spicy at all.
We ate with a vegan family and the food came mixed with non vegan, which was not great for them.
