“Very nice campsite, sanitary facilities super clean. There are trash cans at every pitch. You can see, here they pay attention to quality and the place is well maintained. Sad that some campers do not appreciate this and use the fireplace as a trash can. Top WLAN, which you don't find so often. At the reception, French is mainly spoken, but you can also get along well with English. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Great convenience store, gift shop and gas station right across the street. Very nice area, you only walk a few meters and have a great view of the St. Lawrence River. I had a great time here. Whenever possible I use the offers of the First Nations, never had bad experiences. I have always found the best campsites, hotels and also food there. Highly recommend the place. “This was our 4th time in chalet #7 at Anse-à-Yves but our 6th time in one of the accommodations in Essipit. Everything is very well kept, clean, and every year there are improvements. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the place. The view of the river and the whales is breathtaking! We are just a few minutes from the grocery store, pharmacy, butcher, fishmonger and restaurants. We reserve each year for the following year!”
