I'm an ex mechanic and I hate, I mean hate bringing my car to a garage. But sometimes, some jobs are just to hard to do without the proper tools. The place is owned by a couple. They make you feel at home. The evaluation was clear and complete. The did exactly what they said they would do and showed me the parts they replaced. No surprises! They have some of the best mechanics in the region. If it's complicated work, they have you covered. And they aren't afraid of European Cars. Electrical, hybrid, diesel, they can do it... Thanks for the great service.

I had an intermittent problem with one of the DPF (diesel particle filter) sensors on my vehicle. Besides being broken, the sensor was also stuck in its mounting location on the exhaust pipe. Rather than replacing a bunch of expensive components, the guys at EMP drilled out the stuck sensor, re-threaded the hole and installed a new sensor making sure to use anti-seize lubricant so it won't get stuck again.

While waiting for the repair to be complete, I chatted with the owner about potential diesel vehicle issues (ex. oil from crankcase ventilation, or oil that leaks past the turbo seal, accumulating in the inter-cooler). I'm no expert, but I know enough to judge who is one. I would recommend EMP to anyone, and especially people with diesel-powered vehicles.
