“The chalet is beautiful and had everything we needed. It is packed with amenities that make the building itself quite comfortable and would make for a 5 star stay in winter or shoulder seasons. However, as a summer chalet stay when looking to be outside enjoying the summer sun, it fell a bit short. Unfortunately the lake leaves much to be desired - shallow, weedy water with a mucky bottom full of branches and debris. The lake was not conducive to swimming, really only good for paddling. Thankfully there were several boats included. The gravel/sand landscaping underfoot isn't particularly appealing or comfortable for playing, lounging, etc. and there's not much level ground in the yard to accomodate outdoor games or gathering with a larger group (which the chalet seems designed around accommodating). The landscaping seemed to still be a work-in-progress so perhaps that would change for future guests.”

For such a small shop, surprisingly, there are a lot of choices of bulk food; ) They also have bulk cleaning supplies too and the staff are very helpful as to which one is right for our needs. The person even provided me with a free container for my all-purpose liquid soap. It's really worth the detour ; )”
