“The King of the Laurentians , with the new trail in and out of here (not indicated on the map), is all of 10/10 rating. The cabins all have wood stoves with electric baseboards and a hot tub on every deck. The food service is the quickest I've found, and the food itself is delicious with every bite. 100% my new spot. “The poutine was very delicious and ordered another when I realized how good it was. The dessert was also very good but the poutine was the real treat. The burgers here are average, and nothing exciting. The staff were very patient and showed our party the different sizes of potines and even moved our tables so that our party could be together. “The food itself is quite good and filling. But the service was not pleasant. The server gave us the impression that we werent particularly welcome. The speed of service wasnt a problem. We understand short staff and food takes time to cook, etc. But we would have appreciated less gruffness. The server really acted like we were bothering. We wanted to support a local/small business, so we were disappointed to be treated this way.”
