This was a great shopping experience. Actually I hate shopping, especially clothes shopping. But I got everything is needed in a brief time and came away very pleased with my selections.

The reason for the excellent experience was Alex, the salesperson who introduced herself to me when I went in. As usual I started with "I don't really know what I want." We looked thru some selections and Alex was able to pinpoint my preferences.

She found a variety of summer shirts and from there we streamlined what was acceptable and what wasn't.

I walked away with 3 completely different shirts and I am very happy.

My only comment would be the pricetag. I had recieved their sales email. But what was on sales wasn't for me. What I did buy is more expensive that what I like to pay, but the quality and designs I think are worth it.

I will be back to this Maximus next time I need more clothes.

Getting your money back is a slow process.

Excellent quality clothing, a bit on the pricey side, but for a big fellow like me who knows the wear and tear factor my body has on clothing it remains an excellent investment.

The issue I have with the 3 stars is about customer service. Now the people working for Maximus are not the problem, I have always been treated very nicely in store as I have on the phone. Where I have an issue with is their cancellation policy.

If I were to purchase something online (which I did), and then realized for personal reason that I would rather cancel said purchase (which I also did), I would refer myself to the company policy about cancellation/refund practices (which they have). So I called them up, apologized for canceling, made sure everything was ok and then went on my merry way expecting a refund.

When I agreed to this transaction online, money changed hands very quickly, as it should. That's the beauty and purpose of technology, things move fast. Apparently technology is not as efficient the other way around.
Turns out that business days are a factor for refunds but are not for purchases.

Moral of the story is this: My bad for changing my mind about this transaction, wasn't very professional of me to do so. I will also be very weary about engaging in a financial transaction with this particular company again, because there are other companies with much more efficient refund practices.

Very nice selection good quality hence pricey at times wait for sales!

The store offers great selection of clothing for the big and/or tall. I'm always able to find what I need and then some. The people are very helpful, however the price point can be a bit high at times, so I'd recommend taking advantage of their many specials.
