“The owner and his son made decisions that they felt were the right thing to do - either cut the faux stringer for the vacuum inlet and let the faux stringer hang over the second floor floor bullnose. We complained as it was really not aesthetically pleasing and the response was that it was up to their discretion how to get the job done. We were present throughout the work and no one asked us for our opinion. To mention that the entrance to the vacuum cleaner was not integrated into the false silt before the work - the entrance was below the old silt and they took it for granted that they could cut the silt without us notify and without validating if they wanted to move the entry. They ended up correcting one of the two problems but we now have a new staircase with a cut and clogged stringer (see photo). They repeated to us that the work was impeccable, that we were the first customers to complain in 40 years. At one point, one of them was laughing at our concerns. They weren't able to hear our dissatisfaction - they told us that if they had to adapt to the expectations of each client, it would never end. We are disappointed with the end result. The steps are very well done but the stringers leave something to be desired. Customer service was not impeccable.”

They are at the mercy of their subcontractors. Some are good, some don't even answer the phone. For our next home, we're not going to take them back. I do not recommend.”
