“We stumbled across this place six months ago while visiting the area and had an exquisite meal. When we decided to come back to our Chelsea hideaway, the first thing we said was that we had to come back to The Village House. It did not disappoint. We came for the small plates, and it was again exquisite. We shared five dishes - every one absolutely delicious - and a dessert, and left very full. The highlight was the pork cheek - it was so savoury and complex and meltingly tender. This is a gem and an absolute must visit in the area. We would eat here every week if we lived closer. Very highly recommended.”

The big burger is what a big mac should be and the deep fried pickled with garlic sauce are delicious. Everyone there is super friendly and will always help you out if you're a little short on fund.
