“Fabulous facilities for day visitors and campers alike. Easy to get to from Ottawa. Change areas, bathrooms, grills, and picnic tables are available (tables go quickly). Lifeguards are on duty and swimming area is restricted to a corded off area which isn't wasn't deeper than 5.5 ft at its deepest point. Lots of trees for ample shaded areas. Daily parking fee of $12 paid upon exiting.”

“I spent the night here when I was passing through Wakefield, QC. It is an incredibly beautiful, historic home. Shana, the owner was so kind and pleasant. We had a chance to connect and talk and she was wonderful. The room I was in was quiet, cozy and the bed and washroom in the room were fantastic. And the breakfast the next day was tremendous. It tasted amazing and felt like a high level restaurant. And Wakefield is beautiful, definitely check it out. I'd love to stay here again!”
