Champlain Lookout

Amazing place to enjoy the fall colours. Lookouts as very busy/crowded but the trails are still fairly quiet. Drive through the park is scenic.

Longtime family tradition to visit Champlain Lookout during autumn maple colours. Old wall was deteriorating and now reopened with more parking and wall. Parts of old wall remain. Now we are from out of town and certainly needed GPS and map settings to get to this spot. It gives a very wide and beautiful view of the Ottawa valley, river and into Ontario to the south west of Aylmer Quebec.

Fantastic lookout! Really breathtaking. Time it with sunder if you can. Place gets very little cellular reception so offline maps will be helpful. Easy stroll from the parking lot. Must be even better when fall colours are at peak.

Beautiful place. Nice view. Worth visiting every season especially fall to see change of leaves color.

Update: Tried to go here again a couple months ago and the road was closed. Not sure if it is open or not yet.

Very nice lookout out, unfortunately this time when I visited it was fenced off due to the wall collapsing. It is going to be fixed so still worth the 5 stars.
