“We go back year after year! Great camping near loads of activities. Affordable, clean and great for all kinds of camping. The river run is amazing after a long day of hiking! Its in the city so can get a bit noisy but the location is great.”

“It's a pretty small camprgound in the sense that everyone is crammed up pretty tight together. There wouldn't be that much privacy or usable land if that's what you're looking for. It is more of an RV village where people tend to stay for a longer term. The smaller tent grounds are decent, not many trees if you're looking to set up a big tarp for weather protection for your tent. I really dislike the fire pits as they are not your classic rustic stone campfire, but rather they are made of a used up metal rim looking pit. Did not enjoy that. Some tent grounds are right off the small waterfalls and some by the river. Fishing is free at the river there is a nice spot to fish from right under the Labelle bridge. Personally not my type of campground as I prefer the more rustic/out in the woods survival camping. Will have to give it 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Because of how friendly and helpful the staff are, specifically the girls at the front reception who helped me a ton with potential fishing spots and advice. Will not be returning but if family oriented and safe camping is what you're looking for then this might just be for you.”

“Pros: amazing wide sandy beach on the rouge river. Absolute perfection, and the water is superb. Also they operate a little pizzeria which is GREAT for a quick meal if you wanna be lazy. Cons: a bit crowded, facilities good but not exceptional, and the wifi hotspot stinks.”

“Some camping areas are large enough to fit 2 small cars, a large 3 room tent, and large table + bench. The camp sites are however very close to one another with few trees to provide some if any privacy. Wood is pricey but provided on site, and delivered to your site. On busy weekends, expect to be smelling your next three neighbour's BBQ and share the intimate noises they make during the night, other than that... Nice place.”

“The staff is disrespectful and quite bad. Great place for parking camping. Great beach, probably best one in Quebec.”

“Awesome time! Chuck was able to find us a camp site last minute during a really busy weekend. Super accommodating, brought us a picnic table and fire pit, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Awesome in-ground pool in the middle of the valley, horseshoes, volley-ball, fireworks on the Saturday night. Honestly couldn't ask for much more from a campsite. 10/10 would recommend, will return. Thanks/Merci Chuck!”

“WOWWWW .... but what a fantastic place. The return to the sources pure and simple. My partner myself and our Bernese Mountain Dog had an amazing two night stay. Ideal for people who love nature. At the start of a river among several mountain hiking trails. What to say about Pierre our host ... great and very caring, making sure everything is perfect. I can't wait to go back again this winter.”

“I really love this place. It is quiet, peaceful and isolated. Less popular then Mont-Tremblant but thats what makes it even better. Great views. I would definitely go back to camp or to rent out a treehouse. Highly recommend”

“Spent 2 nights in treehouse 12 in early fall and it was an antidote to the stress of modern living. My partner and I loved getting in after a long day of hiking and canoeing and lighting a fire. The staff are taking many COVID specific precautions and the facilities were well equipped and maintained. It can sometimes be a challenge hauling in water and supplies, and disposing of waste properly but you fall into the habit quickly enough. We opted out of having power and quite enjoyed the more rustic experience. Be sure to bring plenty of candles though!! We're looking forward to coming back in the winter and enjoying a whole different kind of experience. Thanks Nancy and everyone working behind the scenes to make our trip a success.”

“We visited this campground twice this season, early July and October. Beautiful scenery and a nice beach, we also appreciated the easy access to the bike path, the hiking trail and calm atmosphere. Unfortunately, the attitude of the workers (especially at the reception) is less than professional: No smiles, they bark their rules at you and rush you in (at a time when it was quiet). The roads are full of deep holes that fill up with water when it rains and take days to drain/evaporate. The same holes were there on both visits (months apart) so no real effort was made to fix them. Overall cleanliness of the washrooms was mediocre and should have been more frequent considering that many guests need to use the same facilities (rentals don’t have washrooms, many campers don’t have toilets). Considering their already high rate (we were on a 2-service waterfront site), charging $20 to change a reservation date over the phone, $10 for a small bag of wood and $5/night for a dog on top of their already high rates doesn’t make this a place we are likely to return to very often. We will research better options in the Laurentians for the future.”

“Fantastic. What can I say. We visited in the fall and saw the bison. Amazing. The guide who explains things does it with such a passion. I really enjoyed hearing his explanations and stories. As well, there are wonderful places to walk around and you MUST see the dogs - they are absolutely gorgeous and yes, you can pet them.”

“The camp is relatively large and well-equipped. There are mountains, lakes and small rivers. It is a good time to enjoy the maple a few days ago. It is colorful and very beautiful.”

“What makes this place attractive is playground for kids and showers with flush toilets and playse to wash the dishes, there is drinkable water; every spot has fireplace. However it is to close to the highway (noice 24/7) and it's not very spacious. Tents are pretty close to each other.”
