“Stayed there couple of times during my business trips. Clean and relatively big rooms. It really offers a lot of things but for me the best one is the hot pool during the winter. A good place to chill after a workout in the gym or to hangout with friends. The only thing I would wish is a bar in the lobby. It was never working during my visits.”

“This is easily our favourite stop on the Trans Canada highway when we travel to PEI. The hotel is gorgeous! We recommend getting a room overlooking the pool and birds as the balcony experience was amazing and a nice place to relax. Staff are fully bilingual and I felt no shame about my basic french skills while staying there. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel is located beside other amenities. We definitely will be coming back here on future trips.”

“Nicest Days Inn I've ever been to. I wish I could have taken advantage of the indoor pool, while I was staying. Breakfast was good, room and whole hotel was newly updated (or new), and everything was very clean.”

“We weren't sure what to expect, but every single piece was delightfully wonderful. A great location with a large covered porch that has views over the river to Quebec city, perfect for enjoying a night of fireworks before bed. A large garden to enjoy with a book, too. Rooms are clean and you get your own key to the room and house. Bathrooms are made to fit into the space as an alternative to having shared bathrooms; This works better for my personal preference, but makes for an efficient use of space in the room. May not be great if you have an upset tummy for WC usage, but such is the way with most B&B's. Overall, it's clean and tidy, good location super convenient to the ferry for an inexpensive pedestrian trip to the heart of old Quebec City, and the hostes is warm and welcoming. The building itself is tastefully decorated in a calm way with a mix of antiques and non-offensive visuals, and it's brick and porch provide a nice character. While booking, I mentioned it would be my 8 year old son and I staying. When we arrived, there was ninja turtle toothpaste waiting for us :) I stayed one night. I'd go back.”

“The staff here was friendly and were able to communicate with us in English, which we appreciated. They provided a free shuttle service to the ferry that would transport us to Quebec City. The only thing I have to say is a word of caution to the owners to keep things in good repair and working order. The coin machines for the showers were difficult at times. Once I thought I might have to change showers because I could not get the machine to accept my quarter and turn on the water. But there were plenty of showers and the bathroom was clean. The heating elements in the all 4 dryers seem to be broken. I'm pretty sure I air dried my clothes. This was expensive and time consuming. Overall I was happy with this campground and would stay again.”

“It’s tidy and clean, which we have found to be a typical cultural characteristic of Quebec. The actual individual campsites are tightly packed, the campers on either side of ours are about 12 ft or 4 meters away. The sites a grassy with small gravel along the path of the camper and towing vehicle. The folks at the office have been pleasant. We know very little French but it has not been a problem since one of the office staff speaks English, as do many of our fellow campers, virtually all of whom have Quebec vehicle tags. We were surprised (and disappointed) to find that a sign on the water supply said that we should boil the water before drinking. It’s the first campground we have visited where the “city” water is non-potable. The showers in the bathhouses a very small and do not have a place to sit. The showers have coin boxes which require a one dollar coin for 7 minutes of showering. The bathhouses are very clean and modern. Fees: There is an additional charge of $1.25 CAD for the use of the Wi-Fi. While the campsite itself costs $40 per day (for water, electric, and sewer), there is an additional 10% charge for taxes. Then, factor in the purchase of drinking water (a local Walmart unless you want to boil the tap water). Nevertheless, $45.25 CAD per day is approximately $35 USD due to the favorable currency exchange rate.”

“Just came back from our first experience at Camping at this awesome location! People complaining need to camp in Ontario from 65-75 night! Our spot was fantastic (I recommend C section backing onto the field) we were able to put up our hammock even. Campers were respectful of others and friendly. The pool and kids activities were top notch and the location to Old Quebec could not be beat! We were able to explore and head back to our site for a great evening. Only thing that was disappionting was the $8 charge for wood as it was pretty petite. Overall would recommend to anyone.”
