“We spent two pleasant nights at the lodge. The setting is magnificent and peaceful, a beautiful ancestral home with lots of character on a quiet main street. The owners are welcoming and very friendly. At lunch, we feasted on waffles, accompanied by berries and homemade juice. The village is also home to artisans to discover (natural dyeing and pottery) close to the cottage. Magnificent setting to relax!”

“This is a wonderful blend of history--the first cabins were built in the 1800's--and natural beauty. The proprietress is lovely and has developed a diverse clientele but who all share the traits of respect and friendliness. The cabins are modest and reflect the traditions of the place's history and the setting is stunning with the sun rising near the notch of hills across the lake and loons, herons and eagles making regular appearances. I highly recommend this gem!”
