“The review is only based on the cakes. I really wanted to like this place more than I did... and to be fair, I haven't sampled anything else on the menu yet (and there are many tempting menu options here for pastries and sandwiches). But cake-wise, while the appearance is great, I can't say I was very impressed with the end result. If you're looking for a simple, predictable cake (like for kids, for a birthday party), then it's fine. But for an adult palate, it's nowhere near the quality, texture and richness you'd get from a place like Cocoa Locale, or a few other dedicated dessert bakeries.”
