Village récréotouristique l'Oasis

Beautiful place with beautiful landscape, but no wifi, we froze all night because the heating was not working. Hot water tank only 10gallon for shower and dishes, it's not much. Yurts too close together. Bad luck there was no one in the other yurts. Too expensive for the service offered.

Not being the type to drive for 4 hours to find myself in nature, this place is perfect for me! The site is near the main road, convenience store and restaurants on foot (convenience store 5 minutes, microbrewery, restaurants and creamery 30 minutes)

My partner and I are always looking for accommodation within walking distance of the microbreweries, 30 minutes of walking there and another 30 minutes back, it's perfect for us.

The yurts are close together, but people were respectful, so it wasn't a problem for us.
The yurts have electricity, running water (non-potable), shower and toilet. Perfect for people who don't like camping like me.
On the other hand, it gets very hot as soon as the sun shines.

The owner is on site and he is super nice.
I had never been on a paddle board and wanted to try it even though I was afraid of falling in the water or not being able to stand on it.
I explained it to him and he took the time to come out on the water with me, explain how to do it and made sure I was able to stand up before leaving.

I really liked my experience, since I'm more of an urban person, but if you're looking for tranquility, nature and want to hear the loons singing in the night, this is not the place for you.

I really liked my experience, I recommend it to people like me who are not necessarily looking to "connect" with nature.

Super beautiful place on the edge of the rivers the yurts are very clean and large. equipped with a nice full bathroom.
The owner is very friendly. The yurts are a little tight but it's for a good reason that it all has a view of the water.
