“Spacious sites, clean, good services, reasonable prices. Host could not have been more helpful - made us feel like family. Sites are very “open”, no trees between sites, but plenty of space for sitting out.”

“Enjoyed our stay here. Most of all enjoyed our meals here. A fantastic restaurant in the resort able to accommodate all dietary needs. A hidden gem in a remote location. Delighted what a welcome surprise!”

“Belley campsite beach. Most beautiful campsite at Lac St-Jean”

“Very nice private camping. For a private camping, it is very well maintained. Campsites for tents are pretty big and not way too close. However it is still a private campground, meaning cars parked a little everywhere. Permanent and seasonal campers with terrasses and huge RV with permanent structures. If you are looking for this type of campground. This is the place for you. But if you are looking for sepaq type camping, it is not. Now I still like this campground because the beach is huge and has really nice parks and playground for kids. Sanitary blocks are super clean. Shower is not free but water is nice and hot. Dogs are allowed in most places but not on the beach or in kids playground.”

“It was a great time here. There are lots of Canadians and we were lucky that the duck poo bacteria had cleared up before we swam in the lake. Good Poutine too.”

“I would give more than 5 stars if I could. What a beautiful peaceful place close to everything. I was really surprised and pampered by the friendly welcome of the owner(s). A super nice lot, large and easily accessible even with a big fifthwheel. The owner is super helpful and really makes sure people have a good stay. I don't have much experience yet in the field of traveling campers, it's been 2 years since we acquired our fifthwheel, but this campsite is the most beautiful that we have visited. 2 minutes from the lake, there is a boat descent right next to it. 5 minutes from Dam en Terre, beaches all over the area, places to fish, but above all the lake...WOW for the thrill seeker, we really had fun in the sea doo on the beautiful big waves. Two and a half hours away, on an incredibly beautiful route from the Saguenay to the north coast, is Tadoussac. One of the 30 most beautiful bays in the world with a beautiful picturesque village filled with fascinating stories and above all...whales!!!! In short, I had a blast on my vacation at Lac St-Jean. And the Saguenay is magnificent, the north coast...breathtaking, I'm going back there for sure.”

“My very first camping experience (I always wanted to try) and it turned out to be a revelation 😍This camping was amazing in every aspect. (It couldn’t have been more perfect) ! ~The rangers were so kind and helpful ~The site and scenery was breath taking with the Lac St-Jean being right behind our campsite ~Excellent facilities for a first time camper (Toilets, showers, outside sinks, dry toilets within walking distance and safe even at night, water faucet near every camping spot) ~Bike rental affordable (If I remember 30$ for 4 hours) ~ Bike repair kits and tools available ~Interest points and locations at 25min by car ~Sepaq Camping Ground was fairly new (! Year in service) (For reference; My friend and I rented a camping spot with a firepit and splitted the cost between us, so It came to about 75$ for 3 days. Which is in my opinion really affordable) Completely personal and subjective 😇but the best feeling in the world is waking up to birds chirping with the sound of waves gently awaking you and to prepare your morning coffee surrounded by nature … what a wonderful moment !”

“Transient spots are right on the Sandy beach. Beautiful view and fantastic beach. Most parking is for seasonal residents people parked next to us were very noisy and party still going strong at 3.30 am but I assume this is rare 2 amenities on lot; 30 amp electricity and water hookup. $29 per night for trailer”

“Stayed here one night with a group of 25 cyclist on a self supported tour around the lake. Blew our expectations! Stayed in a cabin and they are fantastic! Clean, small kitchenette, great pressure in shower They did us an all you can eat pizza dinner - pizza was excellent! ( we arranged this ahead). Friendly and helpful staff. And they have a great water feature and swimming, rent all sorts of bikes and boats. It’s a fun place.”
