Gîte du Chien Noir

We loved our stay with Ginette and Clément! We were so sorry to only spend one night there. The house is wonderful, the rooms beautiful. Access to the sauna, jacuzzi, paddle, canoe... All this with a view of the lake. We were in paradise. The meal was great. Ginette and Clément are generous, friendly, funny hosts. In short, our favorite accommodation over the 5 weeks spent in Canada.

I just came from a stay at the Gîte du Chien Noir... Ginette and Clément are exceptional hosts... I consider them as friends now...
The meals are excellent, the place is quiet and easily accessible. Quite a discovery and we hope to return soon.

We had a perfect evening with Ginette and Clément during our start of the Kapatakan walk! We felt like home! The place is friendly and the lunch was perfect! Not to mention the tranquility and beauty of the place!

I spent one night with my partner and I will come back for sure. Our hosts Clément and Ginette received us in the most beautiful way. First, the place offers a view of a beautiful lake...the sun, the loons that day there was everything. Then the owners are very careful, we were treated to a tour of the lake by boat. And then the lunch is excellent. Too bad the stay was too short. I recommend.

A little corner of paradise at the end of the world! Excellent hospitality, delicious breakfasts. The place is very pleasant, lake, spa, sauna, different terraces to relax, cozy and impeccable house, luxury service, Ginette has great taste! Canoe, brazier available and good advice for visiting the region. Ginette and Clément are adorable and warm, don't hesitate!
