“Nice site, deforestation currently because of the "spruce budworm". Rock roads it's almost essential to have a wheel drive vehicle. Gentleman at the reception super friendly. Very large, 40km long. 12km before arriving at the reception, so from our tent camp to the exit, it took about 50min. Plan to download the map of the zec before going there, because 5km before the reception there will be no more cellular network. There's nothing against satellite emergency stations for 911.”

“We visited for the day. We had a great time kayak and canoeing on the Lac at the top. The staff were lovely, had a great chat and explaining things so nicely. They were very patient with us. For those with younger children, you must be 12 for paddle boarding. Lovely views. Rain didn't dampen our spirits.”

“We had a wonderful family stay at the Quebec Nature Outfitter! 82 km2 of playground, more than 40 memory lakes?! Obviously fishing but also hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding (which we brought), mountain bikes, wildlife watching, etc. But above all, an outstanding and helpful team in fully equipped, clean and functional facilities. Not to be missed, a dinner prepared by chef Lionel and above all, pizza Saturdays in a homemade stone oven! For an outfitter stay, you can't go wrong with Québec Nature!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though I don't speak French. This place is about a 30 minute drive from Saguenay, and off a 7 km dirt road. This was just what I was looking for; to be near natural attractions. There are good trails right from the lodge, or there are many options for hikers in the nearby national park. We stayed in a chalet, which is small but comfortable and rustic. The bathroom was better than I expected for a small chalet. Spectacular views! We had dinner at the lodge on two nights. It was a Prix-fixe menu, different each night. I loved the duck breast! There was a small lake nearby where we went swimming. A nice bar with many local beers and liquors.”

“Wonderful glamping trip - easiest camping for my friends and I. A communal building with toaster, stove, kettle and pots. Try to get a waterfront site to soak up the beautiful view of the fjord and mountain. It’s worth the extra cost. The washrooms are fairly clean but this needs improvement especially the showers/bathroom. The location is perfect to access kayaking tour and to access trails. It is however about a 15 minute drive to Saguenay park visitors/information centre. There’s a cafe, ice cream shop, grocery and a couple of restos in the area.”
