A stay at the fasting clinic in Nancy allowed me to recover from the long COVID, nothing less!

After 18 months of disability and suffering, fasting and Nancy's warm and reassuring welcome allowed me to live again and reconcile with my body! I was able to stop all the medication I was taking for this disease, and take back my place in MY life ☀️!

What a gift to give yourself than this total rest in a soothing place, to allow the body to heal itself ❤️.

I am very grateful for my stay at the fasting center. It was a positive experience: a warm welcome, physical and mental rest, human encounters, unparalleled professional support and new knowledge about health. Through her availability and her presence, Nancy is reassuring and attentive. The place is peaceful and warm. To rediscover this feeling of serenity, I would return without hesitation.

Fasting is an experience that at least once in their life, everyone should have. For me, this is my second 10-day fast that I have come to the Nancy Tardif clinic and I am always amazed by the emphatic approach that Nancy and the members of her team show us. These are the best vacations a person can afford, both physically and mentally. My first fast I was a little ignorant and my goal was to lose 20 lbs. I succeeded, but fasting is much more than that. My second fast my goal was to better understand where my greed came from, you know this impulse to always want to eat a little more. That's when I understood that my mind came to sabotage everything for my body. We take it for granted that the food needs of our mind as well as those of our body are the same and that they are one. But the reality is that the body and our mind are separate from each other. Our body must respond to rules and principles that are strict and well structured. But our mind can go in all directions because of our imagination and our emotions. Conclusion the needs of our body and that of our mind are not the same, we must learn to associate the dice with each other. It has the physical (body) and psychic (mind) person who simultaneously live the same experiences but in a totally different way. The mind on its side constantly needs to stimulate its neurons as well as its nervous system to imagine, create, feel, see, touch, taste, experience, experience emotions, even when it sleeps. But there is indeed an interdependence between my body and my mind. As our mind is less disciplined than our body, we must ask it to stop in order to take the time to question the real food needs of our body and not let it make the food choices for our body. Our mind has no idea what our body really needs and it will sabotage everything by its desire to experience pleasant emotions or experiences. So gluttony comes from the mind and not from my body, the mind is just looking for pleasant experiences and if we let it, it will surely sabotage everything for the body. It's not what you eat that is important, but rather how much you eat and how often you eat. Obviously if your body is really hungry you have to eat. The human body was designed not to eat for several days, but that is not what we are taught. We are taught from childhood that it is important to eat at least our three meals a day and that whether you are hungry or not. Becoming aware of our body and its food needs are our real challenges. Or we can always continue to overeat foods that will clog up our liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys and several other organs, reduce the efficiency of these and indulge us with disease in our body. I really encourage you to go fast and see for yourself that your mind is the real problem of your health. When I am fasting, I am always fascinated by never being hungry, simply because my mind is not stimulated. Sincerely and have a good fast, Mario

For me the best place in Quebec. Center of total rest. I am on my second long fast. I had an impressive improvement in my health. Quiet area on the banks of the Chicoutimi River. Private rooms with full bathroom, impeccable, atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Caring and attentive staff and nurse. Just wow!!!!

I am on my 2nd fast with them and I find the staff very warm, welcoming and very concerned about my comfort. I really appreciate that they listen to our state of health and adapt to make our experience as pleasant as possible. The rooms are excellent and there are few fasters, which makes the experience more intimate and more conducive to rest. This place is not my first and I must admit that it is my favorite Center. I recommend as much for a first experience as for regulars. A gentle fast.
