Working with Kirsten was fantastic. My 6 year old has had a lisp her whole little life and I had been working on it with her, to no success. After just one session with Kirsten I could see the changes, and my daughter was already starting to recognize the sound she needed to make. We had bi weekly appts for a couple of months with Kristen and I am now happy to say that my child is lisp free!! Better yet - her younger sister also had a lisp, and she has learned now from watching her older sister how to correct and her lisp is gone now too. Kristen was friendly, professional, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Kirsten is phenomenal with our 5 year old son. She easily adapted to his learning style and has very effective methods.
I was incredibly impressed with her ability to hold his attention, even through a screen when our sessions were forced online due to covid.
The improvement we saw was phenomenal from day one and has only got even better.
6/5 stars. Would recommend.
Kirsten and her team have been amazing! They are super accommodating and my son (10 years old) enjoys working with them. His speech has improved and they have taken the extra time to work with me so that we are able to help him incorporate what he is learning in his everyday life. I totally recommend It's A Speech Thing!
Our daughter (9 years old) stutters and was starting to feel helpless and stuck when she wanted to express herself. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see her struggle. But that is all changing! She has gotten so much out of her speech pathology sessions at It's a Speech Thing. She leaves each session feeling empowered, confident, and happy!
BTW, all of our daughter's appointments have been online via video conferencing (#COVIDlife...). And while we are looking forward to the day when she can do an in-person appointment, we're VERY happy with how the sessions are going.
If you're looking for a caring, fun, and professional speech pathologist, It's a Speech Thing is worth visiting.
Thank you so much for all that you do!
Stephani is very good and patient with my son. She is non stop talking to my son. Sometimes we didn’t notice the time that it’s over. They are get along together and my son’s sit to her the whole time. It’s a great experience for all of us. Thanks for taking us your client.
