“Were here Sept 4. Was very surprised that we were the only ones here. Nice and tidy, Just power hook-ups, Toilets are rustic, no running water, well sheltered from west wind. Picnic tables are clean. Good job by persons looking after this campsite. Neat to go "uptown" and have no traffic, some quaint stores to visit and buy odd stuff. Loved it. Price is FREE, could not understand that. Will use this as a stop over on a journey.”

“We went to Pike Lake as a family.... Every part of the outing there was good except one...When we were sitting on the beachfront of the lake we had people come sit in front of us that were both smoking and drinking with out caring at all about other adults and children. Other people smoked cigarettes away from the beach including my adult children. I think they should have some No Smoking signs displayed right before people enter the beach area... after all it is a public place.”
