“Tanner was a helpful tour guide through the Avonlea Badlands August 24, 2020. We saw the carved out valley with Hoodoo structures and many layers of rock, stone and capstone. Lovely sage bushes some flowering purple and yellow. The walk takes about an hour and 15 minutes, maybe a little longer with a larger crowd. I recommend spring or fall for those who can’t take heat because there is no shade.”
