“The staff was 50/50 . First I asked for help at the contractor desk, and they just pointed me towards the tool area, not actually knowing where the part was that I needed. The second fellow (from shelving area) said I would need a tool associate which he found for me quickly. The associate answered my question with knowledge. I then headed to the cashier. The price showed up as double what it was supposed to be. I said there must be a mistake, and we went back to the shelf which showed the sale price. She said it must be per item. I said I don't think so, then she paged the tool associate. I had to wait for a few minutes while she served a couple other customers who also were having problems with their purchases showing wrong prices. The tool associate came back with a tag showing my item at half price. The cashier then rang the item through at the sale price. After I got home I checked out the flyer and noticed the sale ended the day before. (But did find that exact item for sale at Lowe's for the same sale price) The store does have the Craftsman tools setup a lot nicer then both of the Lowe's stores. At the end of the day my experience was kinda painful but then I didn't have to travel to another store to get my item.”

“This location is slowly improving their customer experience. I've had a few negative service issues in the past. Perhaps due to their young workforce. Some staff may be new to local culture & adhere a little too zealously to store policy. Very few staff members to serve at check-out. However, they have finally upgraded their self-serve check-out software (hated the old version).”

“Purchased a 7 inch long bolt. Most bolt bins in department stores don't have anything over 6 inches, but Fastenal provided a quick turn-around for me. Other stores in town wouldn't special order in a single bolt for me... but Fastenal did. Thanks to Fastenal - Oh and the comments before me about "small orders"... I guess I just proved them wrong cause I purchased a single bolt?”
