Its like being in Canada without the need to speak French-Canadian :) Top of Vermont in the Northeast Kingdom, a quiet family and dog friendly resort with great views, lots of options to hike, bike, swim, kayak, paddle, relax or fish. Fish on Forest Lake and watch the Loons or play on Big Averill Lake. Sit by the fire and make smores or relax and read. The new management is excellent, very engaging and work very hard to make this an awesome place. Felt like being with relatives without the baggage :) They put on a great breakfast, hustle all day with camp chores but still stop and talk to every guest and engage with your family to make the stay better. Main lodge needs a better inventory systems and they need to upgrade their swag/gifts/t-shirts. Our family had an amazing time and we were exhausted when we left (because we did so much each day). We WILL be back!
