“My family had dinner here one Friday evening. It was busy but there was a table ready for the 6 of us. All of the staff we meet were very friendly and helpful. We had a mix of vegitarian and meat dishes and they were all great. The craft beer selection is also great. We started with the pretzels and they were warm and delicious. We finished our meals and shared two desserts and they were out of this world! A great place in a small town and definitely worth a stop.”

“Food and service is excellent! We came with some friends that live near here and they come here a lot. We had the Cheese curds, Poutine, Haddock sandwich, veggie melt and onion rings. My girlfriend couldn’t stop raving about the veggie melt made with Havarti-dill cheese. Would definitely come back for any of those items but would like to try many items from the rest of the menu. Debbie B. was our outstanding server and was very nice and talkative. Great experience!”

“We have stayed their twice this summer 2018 to fish beautiful Island Pond. The fishing was great and so was our stay at the lakefront Inn. Everyone is so accommodating. And awesome food close by at the deli. The pizza is great. Can’t wait for our next trip.”

“Its like being in Canada without the need to speak French-Canadian :) Top of Vermont in the Northeast Kingdom, a quiet family and dog friendly resort with great views, lots of options to hike, bike, swim, kayak, paddle, relax or fish. Fish on Forest Lake and watch the Loons or play on Big Averill Lake. Sit by the fire and make smores or relax and read. The new management is excellent, very engaging and work very hard to make this an awesome place. Felt like being with relatives without the baggage :) They put on a great breakfast, hustle all day with camp chores but still stop and talk to every guest and engage with your family to make the stay better. Main lodge needs a better inventory systems and they need to upgrade their swag/gifts/t-shirts. Our family had an amazing time and we were exhausted when we left (because we did so much each day). We WILL be back!”

“Our family just spent our first week at Quimby Country, but not our last. This was the perfect setting to disconnect from the world and reconnect with the family. Within 5 minutes of our arrival, our whole family was out on Forest Lake in kayaks looking for loons. Clean, professional, warm and friendly are some of the words that describe the staff and facilities that Quimby had to offer. The new management and veteran staff were amazing- their attention to detail was thorough and everything from the initial greeting to our end of week slide show was done with a personal touch. We already booked our cabin for next year! Thank you Quimby!”
