Real tasty authentic hot ramen right on the ski slopes! You have to be kidding the place is unreal; it's cooked in the old cabins and you can eat it around the fire pit or in the cafeteria. The soupe itself is really tasty the noodle have the right texture and the egg is cooked to perfection. The only thing they could improve is around the ecological bowl, the starts leaking if you eat too slowly.
After a long day of boarding with no breaks to eat, we absolutely devoured this yummy bowl of ramen.
The spicy miso bowl had the perfect amount of spice and seasoning.
The only thing we would change is just a tad more meat!
My first trip to Jay Peak. Everyone kept telling us we have to try Miso Hungry. The skiing was amazing and so was the Miso!! Had the pleasure of meeting Jordan (The owner), and taking a ride on the chairlift with him. As we talked, I could sense his passion for family, food, and skiing (probably in that order!). An amazing young man who’s passion for his craft is evident by the culinary delights that he creates, and the amazing staff that takes as much pride in his endeavor as he does. Anyone who takes the journey, to Jay Peak must partake in the excellence of Miso Hungry. ...And even if you’re not a skier, if you’re in the vicinity, the exodus to Miso Hungry is well worth the effort!
I was skeptical about the quality of this place after I looked it up because they put some unconventional vegetables in their ramen. But I was wrong. This ramen is actually quite good! The miso ramen has a nice rich broth and perfectly firm noodles. I've had lots of ramen in Japan and I can say this place is definitely serving authentic ramen.
Exceptional ramen right at the base of the lifts at Jay Peak - this is like heaven after great skiing. The fire pit really helps. They are clearly passionate about the quality of their food. We went there every day during our 4 days stay.
