Lopez Lodge

Comfortable, reasonably priced rooms right Lopez village. Our room, the double room, is large, with a nice balcony and view of the sunset across the water. Bathroom is small, clean, good condition. Electric heat, no thermostat; we would turn it on for a while, then turn it off overnight, beds are comfortable warm. Restaurants are nearby, we enjoyed both Ursa Minor and Setsunai noodles. Easy walk to grocery store, there is a small fridge and microwave in the room.

We stayed at Lopez Lodge, last minute. So friendly, helpful and the perfect location! I keep thinking about our nice stay there and how clean & spacious our studio was. Will definitely be back.

Clean, quiet room with a view of the water. Microwave, fridge, wifi, tv, blow dryer, coffee maker and coffee, and hand soap in the room. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion provided for those used to hotel stays... Walls are thin so be prepared to hear your neighbor. Mattresses are very firm spring mattresses that could benefit from some sort of soft topper in order to be comfortable. There is no reception area so be prepared for a key hunt when you arrive. Close to a great coffee shop and bakery and right across the street from Ursa Minor.

GREAT rooms, and absolutely no hassle whatsoever. Although we never met our host face to face, she took care of us and arranged for us to have everything we needed. The lodge is ideally located on the island and well-equipped. The bathroom was new and the two queen-sized beds were quite a treat. The room had more kitchenette features that I am used to, including real glassware.
