“This was our second time staying at Blackberry Beach. We honeymooned here two years ago and now we’re back for an anniversary weekend trip. We stayed in the waterfront cabin both times. We love it here! It’s so peaceful and cozy and has private beach access and a perfect view of the San Juans out the bedroom and living room windows. Even in the off season, it’s so lovely. Carol Jo is so sweet and a wonderful host! East Sound is about 20 minutes away with lots of cute shops and places to eat. Blackberry Beach is a beautiful, rustic getaway and a great place to relax and disconnect for awhile. We can’t wait til we can come back to stay here again!”

“We stayed in the studio to celebrate our anniversary. Vicki was friendly, communicative and an overall great host who shared great knowledge about the area. Our only goal this trip was to relax and we did exactly that. The studio is beautifully decorated, with plenty of ammenities and a comfortable bed. There's a small kitchenette which was useful for us and of course, the amazing view was a huge bonus. “This is the 3rd year we've stayed at Bracken Fern, and will continue to keep requesting this as our base on Orcas. Excellent location and convenient to ferry landing, downtown Eastsound, Cascade Lake, Moran Park. Home is always in wonderful condition, super comfy beds, large yard and fire pit plus jacuzzi. All amenities to make either a short or long stay most enjoyable. Owners are conscientious, helpful, and always responsive.”

“Stayed in the Euro room with no windows, not a big deal. Nice room, free fruit tray every day if you want it, and super friendly and helpful staff. Had an adjoining family room if you need more space. The location and free parking of this hotel simply can not be beaten. The only minor bad thing is the towels really rough, like a kitchen towel. That is the only bad thing I could come up with!”
