So pleased to be sharing this - I love starting the week with Amy in her 30-minute free qigong & mudra meditation class via her Compassion Meditation & Qigong Practice Group on Facebook. She facilitates a connection between breath and movement, between mind and body - it’s a gift to join this group each Monday. Even though we don't live near one another I can still learn from her online. I've always wanted to go to Ireland and I can't wait to join her for a retreat this year. When I think of spending two weeks together steeped in compassion meditation and qigong, while exploring beautiful cultures and landscapes - wow - amazing opportunity. Thank you Amy!
Amy Pattee Colvin is an artful mentor. She blends meditation, qigong, and insightful conversation into a program that helps women safely explore their personal challenges, and she offers practical and insightful tools to help change your mindset and increase vitality. I’ve taken Amy’s weekend Cultivating Mindful Compassion workshop and often implement elements from that course into daily life. I look forward to attending a retreat with her in the future. I love her gentle approach to helping me see areas where I can grow, while at the same time helping me stand confidently in that place of knowing I am enough at this moment. Thank you for the work you do, Amy!
Amy, I have loved the 21-day daily practice with you. What a rich month it has been. I am amazed how much better I feel , compared to a month ago! Qigong - and your daily practice - along with some other newer practices -all fit together in my quite remarkable rejuvenation. Thank you so very much for your immense gift of using your experiences and your knowledge to create beautiful containers for us to move more inward , downward and upward - in a very comfortable and enjoyable manner!
I rejoice in the more organic path, and love that I am moving closer to making Qigong my trusted practice. I am very grateful for the exploration of the belly breathing and I am so thrilled with how much better I am feeling physically, even after only 10 minutes of Qigong practice and breathing.
Blessing to you on your Path,
Marianne
I first met Amy at a half day work shop on cultivating compassion. The workshop included chi Kung which I have been studying for years. I am always seeking fellow chi Kung practitioners so I started going to Amy’s weekly chi Kung class. I love the moving meditation aspect, circulating chi and I always feel better when I leave: more grounded and clearer. Then Amy said “hey, I am leading a retreat to Peru, are you interested?” “Heck, yeah”
We just got back. What an amazing trip! Very well organized, awesome local guide, nice hotels and great food. I fell in love with Peru. We visited many Incan sites. When opportunity allowed, doing meditation there. Two great hikes, beautiful scenery. Got to experience local culture. Every day we did some form of chi Kung, meditation and class work.
