I enjoy this park when there are owners there that pay attention to their dogs. Put down your freaking phones and pay attention. Your dog is trying to tell you that they don't like this dog or that or this behavior or that behavior but you don't see it. I've never had any issues but I'm always aware of my dog and others around him.
Great space, conveniently located next to the playground so I can run the dog and the kids without having to trek all over town. Beautiful area, well placed amenities.
I like that it is fenced in with a bunch of room for running around. Including some averages trees and bushes safe for your canine to explore around. Also like that the ground is birch malt and not dirt so they can't dig holes. That is in a separate area away from the playground area. There are restrooms close by so you don't have to walk away to use the bathroom.
Another great Bellingham park. Many different possibilities here. Walk the paved half mile circular sidewalk or climb the stairs to the Bay to Baker trail. There is an off leash dog park that has seperate areas for big and small dogs with a nice group of regulars. Two good size baseball fields provide occasional entertainment. There is a picnic shelter and nice play area for kids that includes a zip line for ages 5 - 12.
This park has a wonderful playground complete with a zip line. My kids love it here and so does my dog. We spend hours there when we go.
