Safe place for kids or adults to go skateboarding

Sick park, but the surroundings vibe is wack

A clean spot that should be respected. Overall it’s a street skating oriented park, good for beginner to intermediate skaters. A bit underwhelming for advanced skaters but remains a serious and respectable skatepark. A mini pipe and bowl would be rad, but overall it has more than enough for street skating sensibilities.

There are lots of children, and they have as much right to be there as anyone else. Same as all parks. They should be treated as humans just as you would any other skateboarder. Just my two cents, why make them resent an experience?

There’s a fierce breeze that will blow through the area occasionally that will make trying to push your board a hassle.

Overall a great place to skate, but a broom and trash bag may be necessary to clean up after others have littered and smashed plastic/glass all over the place. Such is the way though, so just pay it forward.

P.s. don’t graffiti hateful messages on or around the park.

Love this place much they need to add more places like this to Whatcom county
