  I dropped my computer and it had started to make loud noises. I was fretting the worst. So I took my computer into Second Time Around Computers before bringing it to the Apple Store to get it fixed. It ended up being such a small little fix on the fan that they did it free of charge. The customer service was top notch! They were knowledgable, friendly, fast, and they saved me a trip down to Seattle. I will definitely be recommending to friends and will continue to use their services. Can't thank you guys enough!

  I had them replace a screen on a laptop with a thin bezel that required a bit of extra precision and attention to detail (Lenovo Yoga 910). They got the wrong part originally, but they fixed this at no extra cost. When it was first repaired, I also did notice the bezel wasn't put in place (a rushed job?) so if anything could have hooked it the thin plastic piece would have been broken. They happily fixed it, and I didn't care to point our more flaws to them at this point due to the prior issues. As such though, the computer shows a few scratches around the metal, and a thinner part of the plastic bezel on the screen was also cracked (the part they had put back in place). The screen is also raised above the plastic gasket that keeps the glass from hitting the keyboard when closing the laptop. So, as such, they did do the repairs, but I got what I paid for with the $100 flat-rate labor fee and I do not think they are the right people for the job for detailed laptop repairs. Most of the positive reviews here are people buying laptops as-is or have desktops, which require less attention to these sorts of details (I come from repairing my own desktops).

  I have done business with Second Time Around computers for a number of years and have always been very happy with their service. The owners of this business are some of the most honest and honorable people I have ever known. I have bought a number of computers from them and never been unhappy with my purchase. I am happy to give these people my highest recommendation.

  A former co-worker of mine recommended Second Time Around Computers to me in 2013. Procrastinating for too many months, I finally went to them in 2014 to have my laptop repaired. The crew that helped me were just great. Easy to talk with, no hard sell tactics, explained things in language I could easily understand and after checking out my laptop they explained the scope of services they were recommending for my repair. They completed the job in a short period of time. I was super happy with the results, the service and the cost. Now it's almost 4 yrs. later and the same laptop had not had attention since their previous work and needed a very overdue clean up and overhaul. I went in again and the crew was just as friendly and accommodating, same style of communication, very efficient and again...no hard sell tactics. I needed to have it back quickly, too and they managed to do that for me even though I know they were very busy. I highly recommend this competent and well run local company with a great crew.
