(August 13, 2017, 3:55 am)Our first visit was a couple days ago. I am so impressed by this place! The food is fresh, great portions, great flavor. The staff are so friendly and the owner and chef (George) came out to serve us and gave us a complimentary dessert. Pricing is very reasonable and great value for the quality of food you get. We will definitely be back!

In an area of seemingly nothing - a gas station, some industrial buildings, then farms for miles - up pops a modern community center with this cafe right in the middle of it. Serving all hand made, fresh food with friendly staff and cheap prices. We walked up to the order window, and I asked for the hamburger on gluten free bread (yes, they have gluten free bread too) with the hand cut fries. Note that the menu says "gluten sensitive", so cross contamination may be a concern.
You then walk over to the dining room next door; a small, unremarkable setting with the basic amenities. One of the staff members walked out with our food not much later. The burger was delicious, complemented by a secret sauce. If I would change anything about it, I'd have just a little more of the sauce. Otherwise, the fries were good. For a ~$9 gluten free hamburger in just about the middle of nowhere, you're in for a real treat. Stop by if you're traveling south on I-5, because this place will have Bellingham pretty much beat on the Burger Price Index.
