“So a little disclaimer, I work for the vu tech Crew so not the coffee house but the building it's in. I love this place I'm usually there to put on a show or for open mic. The community is great welcoming and nice. The actual coffee is great and they have a cider drink that I really love. Overall I wouldn't rate it 5 because of the location and the interior (couches and such).”

There is more stuff there I haven't experience yet, such as a waffles on Saturday and Sunday morning, and a cereal bar. “I love Cruisin Coffee, in general. Unfortunately this location constantly forgets my flavoring. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, not ruining my day, but I'm diabetic. So I take insulin while it cools and end up needing emergency candy because there's no sugar in my drink. It's happened 4 times now - at this location only. Sad. Cruisin on Lakeway is THE BEST!!!!”

“This was a nice quick experience. Was pretty busy, we could see why. The food was amazing and the service was on point and quick. The potatoes had a few different seasonings and the way they were cooked that made them better than anywhere local. In and out in 30 mins. Great view made it feel like a vacation. For many years, they've been producing quality truffles, fudge, caramels, peanut butter treats – and Easter bunnies. Oh, the bunnies! They're all made in-house, primarily using antique chocolate molds, and are all masterfully done, in dark, milk and white chocolate. Be prepared for long lines around Easter and in the summer tourist season, though. Don't worry: it's worth it!”

“I have given this establishment 3 stars in hopes that they usually do better. My husband and I drove through town looking for a quick bite to eat (something to go) on a cold, rainy Saturday afternoon. When we arrived the employee working informed us that her boss was gone and that she was out of many food materials to make the items on the menu. She went on to say that it would be easier for her to list what she "could" make. I quickly asked if she had any soup. Luckily, that was something she had (chili and chowder). It took her a couple of minutes to find the right containers and then the lids to fit them. We were getting a little frustrated at the amount of time this took. However, the soup was good. The coffee stand inside was closed down and that was also a little disappointing. Having said that, the employee was very polite and the soup was good. As this was our first time going there, I am not sure if this is a common occurrence that they are out of things on the menu or that the coffee shop was closed when the restaurant is open. Along with indoor seating, they do have a nice covered area outside to sit and enjoy the weather, rain or shine!”

“We stopped here for coffee on route to the morning train. Not only were our soy lattes most excellent, we were delighted to find not just one, but two varieties of homemade, vegan pastry options! For such a cozy little space, we were really impressed that they carry more vegan choices than major espresso chains. We bought them for the train and had a lovely breakfast. Both were extremely tasty. Really impressed with the quality of Shirley Bird and look forward to a return visit.”
