“Our experience with Sunshine was great ! Gord who did the orientation with us was an awesome guy! We took the sunbreezer house boat for 4 nights and was newly renovated so that was a plus and on our first night we were all new to house boating so didn’t know much about it and didn’t have any lights out first night so in the morning we had someone come out and all he did was flip a switch in the engine bay. It was late too so couldn’t call anyone. Everything was perfect after that until we got hit with a wind storm the second night and we ended up loosing a stake luckily someone saw us and brought us a new one (you’ll get charged for $50 and won’t know till the end of your vacation. Talked to someone on the phone about it and said I didn’t think that was our fault so she was nice enough to drop it to $25) with the wind storm we were getting rain too and the bunk room has a water leak from the light on the roof in there which is also a safety hazard for passengers plus all your clothes and stuff gets wet on the top bunk. Following into the 3rd day with all the rain going on we couldn’t get our generator going luckily Gord came out and got us a new one. We did have a small accident that no one knew about that scuffed the paint off the wall in the back of the boat which did cost a $100 for them to paint over. (I’m assuming this because any other damage in the boat was just painted over previously) Our last night it got pretty cold on the lake and someone closed the window in a room and and the window shattered and will cost ya $250 and that’s totally fine but we should’ve known to do our own inspection first because anything could’ve been wrong in there maybe there was a small crack in it already. Other than that the experience with Sunshine was great everyone had a good time and we’re very thankful for this.”

“This venue is like a British soap opera -- hasn't changed much in 20+ years since I visited it as a kid. Still a great activity when beach-time is not an option. Basically a permanent midway with a few extra activities like mini golf and bumper boats. Compared to a traditional mid-way, the bracelet prices are reasonable ($32/person in 2023). If you take part in more than 4 activities, your bracelet pays for itself. I have kids aged 10-16 and there were enough activities to justify the expense ($175 taxes in for a family of 5 -- we spent 3+ hours there and the kids said it was the highlight of our stay on the Island). It is important to know that go-karts and carnival games are NOT included in the bracelet and cost around $8/activity. Was a life-saver on an overcast day on the Island. The Cyclone is still one of the best mini roller coasters in the world and my kids were able to ride it 3 times in less than an hour. Lineups are "Costco"-like...they move fast and are worth the wait. Biggest downside is the number of rides that are down for maintenance without announcement. Two rides were out of service -- something you don't know before buying a ticket. Having said that, compared to prices at the Capital Exhibition in Ottawa (and the time spent waiting in lines), this was a good use of time and money for a younger family in PEI.”

“Really fun time with water park rides as well as a small roller coaster and other attractions. I would say the park is not really suited for teens other than the main water park. There is a small water park for toddlers, which my 3 year old loved. If you buy tickets in advance there is a discount.”

“Myself and my two kids had a great time at Super Splash this past weekend. The teen staff were helpful and polite, (I didn’t notice any staff over the age of 20). Wristband, life jacket, checking in were all great. There’s a selection of snacks available, but we brought in our own food. Inflatables were a lot of fun, you definitely get a fun workout on them! They’re also in top condition, but that’s to be expected as they opened earlier this summer. There’s also plenty of life guards. One note; you do have to swim out to the inflatables which takes a few minutes. Parking is quite limited as they don’t have their own lot. One was full when we got there, the other just one available spot. I booked on the website the day before to get our 2 hour slot, which is what they advise so you don’t miss out if you pay at the door. One thing to note is that you do have to pay an additional cost to get into the quarry itself, which was an extra $16.75 for the three of us. The Super Splash website did not mention this (at least I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere during the booking process), and I was surprised when I was told this when we went in. They should add it to the website. Having learned about the extra entrance cost we would still visit again as we all had a great time!”

“August 26-27,2023-What an awesome fun park with Gokarts, Mini Golf, and Iced cream. Nice to have this place for families and kids. Had a great time with the family. There are gokarts for parent/child along with single seat gokarts. This is basically the only fun thing to do in the area unless you like real golf and hot springs. There are other attractions but this one is best for the whole family. Thank you to the amazing staff here.”

“We went on a day when some of the areas were closed or staggered but it was still great. We were able to ride all day with little to no wait times. The Viking was so much fun and the Manic is like a wave pool lazy river! The staff was friendly and helpful. Wear water shoes if you can because it’s a lot of walking and hard on bare feet.”

“Stayed here one night with a group of 25 cyclist on a self supported tour around the lake. Blew our expectations! Stayed in a cabin and they are fantastic! Clean, small kitchenette, great pressure in shower They did us an all you can eat pizza dinner - pizza was excellent! ( we arranged this ahead). Friendly and helpful staff. And they have a great water feature and swimming, rent all sorts of bikes and boats. It’s a fun place.”

“I thought this was good! Only complaint is you don't get enough time. We went all the way to the top and a family was behind us, so we didn't want to make them wait with it being so hot out.”

“Great visit on this rainy day! It makes children happy to be able to move freely inside! Very nice facilities and more than reasonable price. Thanks! Note: bring your socks because you can't be in shoes or barefoot in the playground!”

“I love this place for my kids. However I guess Covid took it's toll, many toys and games are not working or in disrepair. The heat in the upstairs playroom does not work at all, so myself and half a dozen other parents had our parkas on. The bathrooms used to be so clean but the toilets no longer properly flush, toilet paper was empty or just about to be. Basic cleaning has gone down hill, still better than other locations. Staff are friendly and quick to help. Again I understand inflation but some of the prices on food items and treats has nearly doubled. We will still go and I do hope they bounce back, because it was the best kept location between Calgary and Edmonton, my family has been to all of them.”

“I live across the street. Just going by the amount of vehicles and people coming in and out of there I would say it's a really nice park. Walking trails are nice. The splash pool could use some updating. All in all a very lovely place to spend a summers day.”

“Very well organized operation! There is bleacher seating in dappled shade for parents or others not going into the water. However, bring a camp chair if you’re old like me and need more comfortable seating. You can bring food and snacks, there are ample picnic tables in full sun you can eat it. There are ample port a potties. The socks are required, and are your to keep to bring if you return. My kids (17, 14, and 12) absolutely loved it. It is actually less than 2 hours, as they open the line up right at the start time, and it takes a few minutes to walk and swim out, and they blow the “get out” whistle 15 minute before the actual end time. However, the kids were exhausted and felt the time was exactly enough. We will definitely go back.”

“Good place to celebrate a birthday, a company party with kids. It's small. Maybe with kids under 6 years old would be ok. They have reality virtual stations of rollercoasters with dynamic seats. Three rooms to celebrate parties. Other room with PlayStation games but it's not working properly. They have a playground for little kids. Dining Tables and cafeteria. Honestly, one hour and a half to stay. After that time is boring. It's not recommended for people without kids and people without a party invitation. It's really boring if you go alone. It's a place to hangout only.”
