“The park is very clean and green. Our spot #5 was perfectly level. We didn't have to do anything extra. The picnic tables are uncomfortable and there is no possibility of a handicapped person joining us at the table. Very disappointed there was no wifi in this day and age and for the price we paid. The breaker kept blowing even when we only had the air conditioner running and nothing else. 8 times in 2.5 days. I liked how the sites are staggered so we don't have to see the neighbors sewer hoses while we ate. It is way over priced compared to other parks in the area that have more amenities. It was also very confusing between Wiley Campground and this one. Maybe a separate website for each. "Not Wiley Campground" doesn't really help on the bottom of the confirmation email. Our friends went to Wiley automatically.”

“My wife and I visited just for a few nights to put our new small rig through its paces in cool-weather dry-camping conditions. What we found is a gem of a little campground! The owner was super helpful and we felt most welcomed; he even arranged a water fill-up point that we used on arrival. The sites and inside roads are on the smaller size (I would not have been comfortable venturing in there in our previous 40-foot 5th-wheel) but most are level and well located amid tall spruce. It's hard to find a good site for solar (our site, #1, was probably the best for that), but I guess the shade is nice in warmer weather. There are super-clean pit toilets in each of the two "loops," other than that it's fully dry camping. Great, grassy "recreation" area by the creek, short but nice walking trails in the forest. The only downside: quite a bit of heavy-truck traffic on the two roads adjacent to the campground. On the other hand, things got right down quiet during the evening and at night. We slept great! We would definitely come back.”

“What a lovely camping spot! We booked this site after being cancelled on by another campsite (weather issues) This campground is nestled away in the bush, so it’s lovely and peaceful and everyone who was staying here were all so friendly. The campsite is very well maintained. They offer full service hook ups but you are sharing your water and power hookup with your neighbour (if you have one) which was not a problem to us. Our neighbours weren’t happy that they had to use 15amps and we had the 30amps (we arrived first and we’re all set up before they arrived) We did have to wait for the owner to bring us and the neighbours an attachment to have both water lines hooked up, so we were delayed in getting the water lines going, But other than that it was great! The sites were a little smaller that what I was expecting but they were manageable and there’s not really any fire pits (what I would call a fire put anyway) but they have small rock pits on each site that you can have a small fire in. I love the name of the bar ‘Cyn City Saloon’ lots of work went into building this as well as the rest of the site. The owner I believe lives on site and would have a drive around on his quad to see how everyone was doing and if we needed anything which I thought was lovely but he never bothered us at all and was super friendly. They have lots of hidden trails that I took my pup on and again these are well maintained too! If you have checked this place out, you really should :)”

“Nice place. We camped on our relatives yard but we're allowed to dump our grey water etc for a small fee at this park. Thanks!!”

“Really awesome Campground! Close access to both swimming areas, day use areas, and hiking trails! Also has some really beautiful areas to explore!! We stayed in site 11, and it's quite nice! I stayed in a tent for this vacation as well! Sites are a bit open to each other and the main road into the campground, and the pictures on the Alberta Parks website are a little hard to see! I definitley recommend calling the campsite managers- they're very friendly and will be more than happy to share their recommendations for sites! Their picks are really beautiful (Sites 8, 10, and 12 all have access to the water and are very pretty!) The actual sites are incredibly well-maintained, with gravel pads, and fire pits are cleared often! Bathrooms are also cleaned twice a day, or more frequently as far as I can tell! The water spigot is located right at the entrance to the campground. If you are tenting, definitley invest in some thicker pegs- the gravel pads, while lovely and dry, are VERY hard to nail the pegs into! Overall, it's a really awesome Campground! Firewood and ice can be dropped off at sites around 6-7pm (Firewood is $12, ice is $4.) Firewood comes in larger bundles!”

“This is the second year in a row my family has attended and we couldn’t be happier. The area is beautiful, all the sites are well treed and offer privacy and are always clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful when you need them. Lots of activities to do, walking trails ,bike riding, goat yoga!! There is a great playground for the kids to play at. A short walk down to the river offers amazing views and a chance to cool off on those hot days. We have brought family out to the campground one year and they loved it so much they began looking for a camper to start camping! We love this campground and will be going for many more years to come.”

“Great family campground. Stumbled across it, while looking for new places close by. Only about 1.5 hours drive for us, which is great for weekend trips. The staff are so awesome, and drive around checking on campers, delivering wood or handing out free popcorn! Sites are big, and will taken care of. Still haven't experienced all they have to offer due to covid restrictions, but I can't wait to go back.”
