Caring owner and great staff! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We took a lesson from Claire and she was amazing. Talking to Jim is always a pleasure and their sale items are a treat too. Highly recommend this place!
Friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of taking notes and collecting as much information as possible from Jim himself.
Short on time, I had to leave before I wanted to but, will be back within a week or two.
I will update this after my next visit!
Edit:
Next visit was with Joey himself; once I explained how far I had got with Jim, Joey started adjusting bows, explaining differences etc. and then shooting the bows. Once settled on a bow, he fine-tuned it and I shot some more and then he got me kitted out with all the accessories.
A team effort as while Joey was tuning up the bow and instructing me, Sampson registered me in their system and then assembled the arrows and then Clair completed the payment transaction.
Highly recommend Jim-Bows if you need any archery information or products!
Thanks all!
I Love this place!!
Great selection
All of the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful.
And, their Archery Range is nicely set up, clean, and safely run.
And, there's a great little community of regulars - young and old - experienced and novice - So there's always someone around who can offer some pointer or insights, or just enjoy shooting with.
For years and another location Jim and the staff have been so helpful and knowledgeable. Haven't had to do much since he first set up my Bow (Years Ago!) other than get more arrows. Haven't been around since the pandemic and a second kid but I was recognized the second i walked in. This is the type of shop that helps you become a great archer before trying to sell you on something you don't need. Great selection of items at great prices that are the bonus of a helpful and knowledgeable
pro-shop. Wanna get into the sport?
This should be your your first stop hands down.
Thanks Jim for all the years, advice and great service.
Best regards,
See you all soon.

This was my first time coming to the shop. I joined a few friends who come here quite a bit. I didn't make an appointment a head of time which is required if you have no archery experience. So they squeezed me and gave me a lesson to get me up to speed. I was very impressed with the size of the shop and the one on one training was great. She taught me everything I needed to know with tips and tricks. Went over all the safety and features of the compound bow. Got me shooting on my own in no time. The owner even came up to me to give me a few more tips during my shooting to help me out. I really enjoyed it here and I would come back again for sure. I think I am hooked and I would love to bring the family to try out. After we were done I got a card with some info on it for my draw length and bow used. So next time I come in it will be a smooth process. Note kids can come but have to be 10 years of age. Great place to try out something new and in my opinion a lot of fun.
