Payne Lake Lodge

Loved this place. So serene. So beautiful. Very picturesque. Very well maintained house lodge with all amenities with vast backyard. Played volleyball, tennis, pool etc. They have it all. Must visit. So close to red rock canyon, Waterton.

Very spacious and wonderful place for a group of 40.Cheryl and family is very nice to deal with.

Rooms are on the small side, but it's nice to have so many beds. Worth the trade.

Cabin is in great shape for a 40 yr old cabin. I would have never guessed it was that old.

The Lodge was beautiful and extremely comfortable, with spectacular views of the Rockies! My niece’s wedding was held there and it provided an excellent location for getting together, dinners and dancing. It’s spaciousness provided a wonderful setting for a weekend of enjoyment and wedding frivolity. I had an unforgettable time...and the bed was very comfortable.

The greatest strength of the Payne Lake Lodge are the number of beds. This place is built for family reunions and other gatherings, which is exactly what we used it for. The location is great too, very beautiful and close to Waterton.

The drawbacks are... the amenities. Or lack thereof. It's pretty rough going. The mattresses are not great. The baseboards were missing from our room. It's just... a lot of it is shoddy.

If you're looking for a lot of beds on a budget, this is a good choice. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere.
