Jackfish Lake Provincial Recreation Area

It's a great little hidden gem... Though I don't agree with the price per day of $24 when all there is is a bathroom. But it's a nice calm get away from the chaos.

It's a great site awesome for kids but I can't agree with the double charge on one site because there's 2 campers in it

Lovely quaint little lake, fishing was good in the spring of 2018..

Camped at the group site - they have a special code to unlock the gate to let us in. Felt safe and knew no “randoms” were going to show up to use the dock or park and use the lake.

Very quiet and picturesque setting. Attendant came daily to clean outhouses and refill toilet paper etc. Was provided with a truckload of firewood and they had it all tarped so it was dry to use. Group site was provided with a minimum of 6 picnic tables.

Beautiful little hidden gem. This cozy little park is nestled in the foothills near Nordegg and didn't disappoint on scenery or fish. We were the only ones on the ice and caught both a Pike and a walleye. This lake was beautiful on the winter and I'm sure it is in the summer too.
