This is one of our favourite Rocky Mountain destinations. Great for hiking and picnicking. It’s usually less busy than most other parts of the park. Sometimes it gets really windy which seems to add to the excitement and adventure. Love this place.
This reserve is so beautiful and I sure had an amazing time. I had my Shoe cleats on just incase. I will definitely love to go in the summer again. It was a beautiful sight.
Probably one of the most underrated areas in the Rockies. It's about a 5km hike to the falls and 5km back, so be prepared. Recommend hiking shoes.
A wonderful little winter wonderland. The walk wasn't challenging, but was long enough to cover bridges, open field-forested areas covered in a boardwalk, a very cool water fall surrounded in ice, and a dramatic river at the bottom of a rock-slab gorge. Don't stop at the lookout! The last 200m has a slope which might be icy
Stunning location for a hike or camping nearby, one of my favourite hikes so far will take you to Siffleur falls, just an all around amazing place to visit and explore. There is a wooden boardwalk meant to be used so do not step off and destroy the natural habitat, one footstep with the conditions here will impact the landscape hundreds of years.Enjoy it but also respect it,as well there are super high cliff edges by the river I advise no small children or dogs unless you have them secure!!!
