“Jen & Monica are friendly, knowledgeable, and so passionate about the work they are doing. Their care and dedication really shines through the wonderful animals they are raising and their delicious pork! They helped us get set up with pigs on our farm and have been so helpful with our own journey as well. We look forward to coming back to the farm and seeing all the unique breeds, as well as sampling more of the amazing products!”

“It was a splendid little tour. It is all by donation, and our tour guide was very insightful. We walked in and were immediately greeted and taken on a tour, no waiting necessary. If you are interested in a little bit of Drayton Valley history and have about 45 min of free time, it's worth a visit !”

“Amazing museum. They have a lot of items with history. Autum, our guide, was super nice and excellent with all explanations. We had a personal tour and it was amazing. Thanks so much for this espectacular day. The museum is open only in July and August so make sure check operation hours before get there. Recommended.”

“This was a birthday gift from my wife and I was really surprised and excited to try this as it was definitely something I've always wanted to do. The Staff was really attentive, friendly, and professional. They gave me a pink helmet as a funny birthday hat! Loved it!! :) Our guide for the trip was Andrew and I must say his enthusiasm, passion and love for rafting made the whole team in our boat lift up a whole other level. He also shared his knowledge of the river and the area during our slower moments. Andrew was absolutely brilliant in his ability to explain and instruct with precision and clarity before the faster larger rapids. After the amazing cascades of water, the trip back was efficient and the undressing of all personal gear is fantastically easy and fast. Every guide plays a small part putting everything away.. what a great team!! Thank you so so much for making this a unforgettable trip. Best birthday EVER!!! We will be coming back!!”

“Absolute best experience EVER! Add Kingmik Dog Sled Tours to your list of things to do in the Lake Louise/Banff Area! First of all, the route the dogs go on is absolutely gorgeous. The trail takes you to the Continental Divide and then we went through a wooded path the guides called "Narnia." It was simply beautiful. The dogs are, of course, SO sweet! They were clearly so excited to be there to run the sleds, but were also so happy to hang out and get lots of pets, love, and treats. The guides are all so kind and accommodating. The sleds themselves are comfortable and warm. My guide even let me drive the sled on my own, which was pretty awesome! The guides are very knowledgeable and are happy to tell you about the dogs and the area. This is such a fun and unique experience — and the only place you can dogsled through a national park! I cannot recommend this experience enough!”

“A jewel of a museum, privately owned so you have to call and make arrangements to view, no charge but a small donation probably appreciated. Everything, and I mean everything pharmacy related is in this wonderful display. A must see if you’ve ever worked in a pharmacy or drugstore in the past, or if you are feeling nostalgic for the way things were.”

“I arrived at 3:56pm and they closed at 4.00pm. I was in town for work and thought I’d check out the museum to learn about the history of Taber. I was also hoping to grab a little gift for my SO while there too. The lady at the front greeted me and introduced me to the place. I noted that I realized they were only open for 4 more minutes, and she replied that it was perfectly fine for me to stay as long as I like, and she truly meant it, she wanted me to learn and was more than happy to show me around and teach me the basics of how Taber came to be. It was a super cool experience, and I’m glad I stopped in before heading back home!”

“I've been to lots of trail riding places and this is literally one of the best I have been to. The horses were trained excellently. This is the best place for beginner riders. I don't know when I will be back, but I surely will.”

“Waterton United Church is a light in the shade of mountains and respite by the shores of mountain lakes. It is joy-filled and love flows out the doors and into the community. It stands as a fitting reminder to be thankful for Creation in the beauty of Southern Alberta.”

“Peyto Lake is simply stunning! This turquoise gem offers a breathtaking view of nature's beauty. Surrounded by majestic mountains and vibrant forests, it's like stepping into a postcard. The color of the water is surreal, making it a photographer's dream. A short hike to the viewpoint is worth every step. If you're visiting the Rockies, don't miss this enchanting spot!!”

“My boyfriend and I wanted to visit Peyto Lake, but we also wanted to go higher for more breathtaking views. Bow Summit was the next hike on our list. I must admit, Bow Summit proved to be a bit challenging, but the views were undeniably worth the effort. It wasn't as popular as Peyto Lake, likely because Peyto is an easier hike in comparison, while Bow Summit is moderately categorized. Check out the videos my boyfriend took to see what to expect on Bow Summit and Peyto Lake as well as the scenic drive!”

“Super fun hiking lol the way to the Sentinel Pass. Although we could not finish the very last and the most difficult part to reach the pass, the rest of the trail was super fun also. The lerch valley was in full fall colors and it was crowded. This is one must do hike in the Lake Moraine area in the Fall. Lots of places to stop and take photographs. Beautiful hike and vista all around.”

“This is a unique campground that just appears in a little valley by the bridge. We stayed near the showers and flush toilets so I can't comment on conditions of the other pit toilets but the host did make her rounds to check and clean them every day. The water was fine to use and in the showers area you can get hot water at the outdoor sink. They also have a cookhouse with tables only so if it is raining you can cook and eat inside. Some sites are rather large if needed and most have power that we saw. They have a decent sized playground for the kids and a baseball field, horse shoes. Road noise is not bad or disturbing if you stay further from it and it didn't keep us up or wake you up much. Small flies are a bit of an issue here and most people wear deet if it is not windy. Mosquitoes are ok here but did get a few bites.”

“A must! This is a magnificent national park full of amazing pockets of beauty. We went during the last half of September and seeing the park in autumn was simply jaw dropping. The changing colours of the leaves against a backdrop of rugged mountains, calm lakes and blue skies was like walking into a postcard. At this time, early Fall, there weren’t many tourists which gave us a more comfortable and relaxing stay. We spent a week here, making it our home-base while exploring other parts of Alberta. 2 days or overnight would also be good if you can’t stay any longer. A day trip to Waterton Lakes National Park would be too short a visit. This place has so much to offer. There are many hiking trails around from easy short ones to the more challenging trails, one can select whichever is preferred. There are many coffee shops and restaurants as well in the area, which makes taking a break or having a good solid meal ideal after a hike.”

“Very interesting roadside attraction. Be careful crossing the main road from the parking area. Some drivers insist on going faster than the posted. 30 to 40 km an hour on the winding mountain trail. Informative kiosks give you the history and it's neat to see what remains of the original well.”

“1. Poor level of privacy between sites but everything makes this park worth visiting 2. I only used the outhouse bathrooms but there is shower and nicer bathrooms here 3. Loved the concession. Great food good value good service, their breakfast wrap was amazing 4. Great lake/beach. I saw people catching fresh water clams.”

“We were told that this is the only museum that allows the visitor to touch real dinosaur bones and eggshells. This alone makes the museum a MUST SEE when you’re in southern Alberta. We had a guided tour in the museum and then we drove out about a half hour away to the place where dinosaurs used to lay their eggs, their nest. There were many pieces of fossilized bones and eggshells which were pretty exciting to find. I can’t imagine a more exciting experience walking where the dinosaurs used to walk, millions of years ago.”

“Very quiet campground. Nice peaceful place to camp and relax. Would go again. If I had anything negative to say, it would be nice if the parks people would get rid of the dead stands that directly threaten each campsite. While we were there, a dead tree fell in the neighbors campsite and hit the side of her tent. Luckily, she was not in the tent at the time, but damage was done to some of her things. She was very lucky”

“This is one of our favourite Rocky Mountain destinations. Great for hiking and picnicking. It’s usually less busy than most other parts of the park. Sometimes it gets really windy which seems to add to the excitement and adventure. Love this place.”

“We went to visit our daughter in Blairmore, and she took us for a drive all around the back roads, and we ended up at Castle Mountain Resort. Beautiful day! There was a wedding there that day, so we peeked in the banquet area. Really beautiful place, even in the summer. We didn't eat or anything, but my daughter said it's a great place to eat. Beautiful houses/ condos for people who want to live right on the mountain. Will definitely try to make it back in the winter to experience that season.”
