Cui Hua gui lin noodle house

Very unique style of Chinese noodles, with very friendly staff to boot. I always recommend the rice noodles with your soup. The signature soup might be a bit jarring for some people as it uses fermented bamboo shoots as a main base, so I recommend this to more experimental eaters who want something other than pho or ramen.

Pictures are dry noodle with braised beef (sub sweet potato noodle) and noodle soup with minced pork. Server helped us with the menu and answered all our ignorant questions. Great food and very reasonable prices. Was provided free tea with meal. Strange and unpleasant smell inside the restaurant.

Great noodle house and their duck isn't half bad either. It's a different style of noodle than I'm used, however ,what I can only presume was the owner was insistent on giving me samples of the fermented cabbage/bamboo used as the base for both unique broths. Not only that he provided me with both types of noodles in bowl so a half and half just so I can try both. Service was exceptional including the food. Will be back.

Excellent noodles! Loved the ones with pork hock. The tea egg is a must try as well.
