I love this place. We've been going for many years and it's always consistent, delicious food and friendly staff.
Came here for lunch on Monday with the family while visiting the Royal Alberta Museum which is really close by. Decor is like any other Vietnamese restaurant but it's the food that sets it apart. Wasn't too busy and we were seated right away.Wife ordered rare beef with tendons noodle soup to share with our daughter. That was better and they finished everything.
This is one of the oldest Vietnamese restaurants in the Chinatown district and is still being operated by the original owner/family. Their noodles/soup still maintain the initial good quality. I particularly enjoy their version of Bun Bo Hue(Central Vietnamese noodles) and their spring rolls which use delicious rice paper wrappers
My food looked absolutely delicious and some elements were. I enjoyed the shrimp skewer. There were a couple issues - the beef was very hard with the consistency of a pork puff so that was strange and the peanut dipping sauce was a bit watery. The other ratings are excellent so I’m not sure what happened during my experience.
The service was good.
