“Good mandate, and nice store. Prices moderate, but there can be "tag" sales, e.g. "all blue-tagged items are 50% off" for the day. During the aftermath of the pandemic, donations are being quarantined before workers are exposed.”

“This is my favourite shop in Edmonton! The owner is very welcoming and helpful. There is a wide selection of comics and collectibles for reasonable prices. I love the new location!”

“This unassuming bookstore has a great selection and a surprisingly broad range of books and notebooks. It feels well-curated and well taken care of by the staff who are always friendly and helpful. Of course, you won't find obscure titles here, but this store ably fulfils its role as a community bookstore.”

“Wonderful store! my dad and i have been to several bookstores in Edmonton but this is our favourite! I've bought classic lit, fiction for myself and my brother, (not a huge selection of fiction, but still great if you want something unique) found a copy of the complete short stories of Edgar Allan Poe that I was on the hunt for, and even found a copy of the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations that i'd been hoping to find and was on my list for awhile. definitely didn't expect to see it in any physical store! highly recommend if you want to find classics, older editions, or are interested in philosophy or religion. Just a fantastic selection, great prices and the man running it is also very pleasant.”

“The organization is great. It's defiantly a place you can find what your looking for quickly or spend hours looking for a hidden treasure if you wish. BUT the pricing seems to creep higher and higher everything I go.”

“Good selection of books, toys and various home items. Staff are really helpful and pleasant. I really like that they keep the store super clean and orderly. This is one of the better stores for browsing in the mall as they have such a variety of items (coffee shop in the store is nice too).”

“Decent comic book store in Edmonton. Primarily focused on back issues and mainly DC and Marvel comics; I would not come here for much else. They do not carry much for newly released comics and have a few hardcover books. Prices seemed fair for non-key issues and a bit pricey for key back issues (in comparison to other Edmonton shops). In comparison to a few other shops, Ultimate Key Issues Comics (UKIC) sorts back issues alphabetically, but not to specifics (For example, they lump all the Superman comics together but won't further divide them into Volumes). I found it easier and faster to find comics at a few other shops in town. Other than that, they do have quite a large collection to go through. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is one staff member who is somewhat of a know it all. They weren't very helpful in actually showing myself where to find what I was looking for; however, they did seem very knowledgeable in comics. They also make you feel somewhat dumb if you did not know your comics. Would I return to this shop? Maybe, but it wouldn't be my first choice.”

“This place seems more like Winners than a second hand store, with the exception that the prices are better! I really like this location compared to others (Sherwood Park/Whtye ave) as it’s bigger, with better selection. There are lots of books and household items along with tons of clothes. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Fantastic small university. Class sizes are ideal, professors are easy to talk to. Really pleased with my choice to go here. The faculties are limited and does not offer a plethora of science courses, but that's not a downfall if you have a degree in mind. Would highly recommend”

“Very open space. Love being able to grab a Starbucks and wander this store for an hour. They have a huge selection and I am always able to find a few books to read. The kids section also has a good variety of books and toys. Can't find this seasons hot toy at other stores, try Indigo, as I always see them there! It's also well staffed, so if you need help, it's not hard to find someone. Staff are very relaxed and personable, and occasionally you can find someone interested in the same genre and they'll have a whole new world of books they can suggest! Love it!”

Staff here are not overly friendly, your pretty much on your own when you come here.. Pick your stuff up and pay!!! No staff to go the extra mile for you here,.. its self serve.”
