“If you like "old school" used bookstores, this is your place! Floor to ceiling shelves packed with books, boxes of books everywhere free for browsing, and an enthusiastic proprietor who can point you towards just about anything your heart desires! We stumbled upon it by chance, but we're already planning a return visit!”

“If you’re going to buy their so called “silver coins,” be aware. I bought a rarer dollar and half dollar coin from them, and I assumed it has the silver metal inside because all coin collectors know if a coin is called “silver coin,” it has the metal composition. I found out that it was 100% nickel (metal) and I talked to a guy who was in there. The “silver” he meant was the color of the coin, NOT the metal composition. I gave a 4 star review because the owner was great enough to issue a refund for me. The coins they had were “average” circulated which isn’t gonna add much extra value.”

“Everything I was looking for from a small town book shop. There are books for kids, teens, adults and in a good variety of genres. If you're not into books, there's a lot of beautiful art, home decor and family activities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back!”

“We came in to find souvenirs and got a lesson on Canadian rocks. The gentleman that helped us was incredibly nice and very helpful. Their selection of Canadian books and rocks was great. There are even some really fantastic art/photography prints available. Very reasonable prices on everything. Thanks for the tip on not drilling the fluorite. Wire wrapping turned out perfect.”

“I came from California to visit friends in Calgary, and we stayed in Pincher Creek to visit Waterton Park. I decided to explore this neat little town on my own by foot. Saw the beautiful Lebel Mansion on a hill and wound up interviewing the staff about its history and present day function as an arts center. It was built in 1910 and was the residence of local businessman Timothee Lebel until 1924. The mansion was donated to the Roman Catholic Order Les Filles de Jesus for use as a hospital. In 1985 the town bought it, and it became the home of the Allied Arts Council. I was deeply impressed that many rural Canadian towns have arts and historical councils to amplify cultural pursuits. The facility has an art gallery, meeting room, studios, arts programs, and more. Personally, I think endeavors like this greatly enhance and brighten a local community.”

“A small museum in Banff about the history of the city and its inhabitants. There are two main spaces, one on the left, which is a gallery of contemporary artists of the area. And the main one on the right about the history of the city.”

“Sometimes it is fun to go to value Village. They have somewhat good bargains. Sometimes the prices are too high for what they are selling with. That is the way the stores run. Most times. People are pretty rude and block. The isles that you want to go down the stuff I feel sorry for only because there’s so much mixed merchandise to deal with and possibly difficult people looking for bargains. I see the store as a glorified garage sale. Nothing else.”

“Will probably not shop here again. Will consider recycled or pre loved toys in the future. Toys R Us has a very strict return policy. We sliced open the seal to one boxed toy and took out a couple pieces from its plastic holds and we were told the toy couldn’t be returned because it was opened and they couldn’t resell it, even a gift card was not given as an option. This was the following day from purchase. The prices of toys are really high here so you better be sure you like and know what your getting (just from seeing the box itself and not what’s inside or removing what’s inside from the packaging) because if you take the toy out and change your mind…well it’s on you then.”

“This spot is awesome. It reminds me of The 2nd Page Bookstore I used to visit when I was a kid. The staff are helpful and friendly and their vinyl selection is pretty sweet and growing. Nick and the staff do a fantastic job keeping the store organized and clean for customers. The hand crafted signs throughout really add a special touch. I'll for sure visit again.”

“Great store 🏬 this is a open and airy store. What Goodwill does is great for society and this store exemplifies their message. They are doing a good thing. We shoe at thrift stores often and this is one of the best out there. My wife often complains that she gets congested at these kind of stores, but that did not happen here. We both liked this store a lot. We found some great deals and each day of the week there is a discount of 50% on a different coloured price tag. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this store and we will come back again.”

“I recently visited divine mine to get a reading from Carmina. My experience was amazing, uplifting and magical. She was spot on, she touched on every topic that is currently blocking me in my life and causing me struggle, she gave me wise guidance and real tools to use to move through my challenges. She was a clear Channel and voice for my spirit team and loved ones. She was so kind, caring and understanding, she reminded me of a very caring mother ! I can't thank her enough, she is a very bright light and I highly recommend you take time to book a session with her, you won't be disappointed! Love: Danica”

“I have purchased quite a few books from this store. I like that I can buy at the store or order online for pick up or delivery. Many of the titles I have purchased had to be ordered in. Understandable as the store is relatively small and can't keep a huge inventory. Their online ordering system works great and Angela is wonderful to deal with. She has been knowledgeable about all the titles I have bought or inquired about.”

“I had such a great experience recently buying from Qunwa. The site was so easy to navigate and to shop different selections. They were very responsive with letting me know availability and when an item was expected to come available again which was pretty quick. Also I was amazed at how quick they shipped out my order after I had placed it. They were even kind enough to reach out and make sure our order had arrived and if we were happy with it. We were pleased with our purchase and the quality of the books and games we ordered, I definitely would recommend buying from Qunwa!”

“Quaint store. The owner is very knowledgeable & helpful. I went to purchase a St. Joseph's statue, but also bought 2 nice prayer bracelets. Lots of nice Catholic trinkets, statues, & candles, with a selection of various books. You can likely find whatever Catholic item you're seeking here. I liked being invited to add my name to the prayer book. 🙏🏽”
