“I had called Duane to look at a bed I had bought from a guy. It wasn’t working properly. He looked at and determined that is was broken and needed at least 700.00 in repairs. I knew the bed was used but didn’t think it would be broken. The guy I bought it from wouldn’t return my call. I then bought a refurbished bed from Duane that was better suited for my mom. I would recommend him for his honesty and expertise. Buyer beware of some of the ads on Kijiji.”

“I need to take my wife to Carvel and stop at the Carvel General Store. I think it might just be a place of unexpected treasures. Rumour has it they have handmade crib boards, Canada made sweaters, manitobah mukluks and drinking socks whatever a drinking sock is. Apparently a mother and daughter have managed to get along running a business together for 17 years. 17 years is a long time for any business. To survive that long, it would seem to imply owners have taste. This summer the wife will have to stop by and check it out.”
