Sheep River Provincial Park - Kananaskis Country

We love going every year. Blue rock is now getting too popular. Now you need to drive out a full day ahead, Thursday, to get a site. People are throwing a tent in the site, paying for it but what bothers us, when there is rain, they don't show up. I think if they don't show up by 6pm. They should loose their site.

Lovely place to go for a family hike! Lots of place to park and a free way to spend the day! Bring your picnic basket and find a nice spot with a view! Very peaceful and serene!

Nice motorcycle ride into the park. Not usually very busy. Good road and good scenery.

What a beautiful park. Not overcrowded with people. Great scenery and blue water at the falls. Very quiet and calming. You can walk a distance along the shoreline and checkout the formations created by the waterway. On this trip we saw one buck and two bears. NOTE: Be aware of your trash. Pick up after yourself. We saw over 20 pieces of various trash dropped or left behind by others.

Beautiful place! Peaceful, quiet and untouched beauties! Close to Calgary and great place to spend time and view wildlife. Hikers would love this place. Found cyclists ????‍♀️ in group. Love this location and will go again!
