“I went to Canadian Tire and asked them if they could cut me a "dumb" key for my car door. Not only would they not do it, but they were even a little nasty about it. I then came here to Wheatland Lock and made the same request to Rick, telling him it was an emergency key for the door only. Rick took the time to find a suitable blank and then cut a key. He told me to try it out. I did, but it didn't work. Rick then took his micrometer, took some measurements and then fine-tuned the key he had just cut. This time the key worked perfectly. And Rick only wanted to charge me $8.50. Needless to say I had to twist his arm to accept some extra money for the time and effort he'd put into it.
